Short version: Bones collects only what is necessary to run online multiplayer — a username, your game stats, and (if you buy anything) your purchase history. We do not collect your name, email, or location. No ads, no behavioral tracking, no data brokers.
Bones has two modes with different data footprints:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, IP address, advertising IDs, or any payment card details. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we receive only a record that a purchase occurred.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the game.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data visible to other players is your username, your Elo rating, and your win/loss record on the public leaderboard.
Your game history and detailed statistics are private and only visible to you.
Bones relies on a small number of third-party service providers to operate. They act as processors on our behalf and receive only the data required to provide their service — never for their own advertising or profiling:
We do not use advertising networks, ad-tracking SDKs, or data brokers. Our only analytics-type tooling is crash and error diagnostics, used exclusively to keep the app stable.

Bones is rated 13+ because it includes online competitive multiplayer. The game itself contains no objectionable content, but online play is age-gated.
Online account creation and multiplayer features require users to confirm they are 13 years of age or older before signing in. Users under 13 may use Bones in offline mode (vs. bots) without creating an account or providing any data.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@playbones.app and we will delete the account promptly.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions with higher digital age of consent requirements, the same age gate applies at the applicable local minimum age.
Your account and associated statistics are retained for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app: go to Profile → Delete Account and confirm with Sign in with Apple. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Live game session data is temporary and deleted automatically when a session ends.

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS and WSS). Your authentication token is stored securely in your device's Keychain, not in plain storage. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Apple.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify users within the app. Continued use of Bones after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
